Artists, Johnstown PA wants you!

ART WORKS in Johnstown! is now offering an “open space” opportunity for artists for the summer of 2008.  Apply now and you might be selected to use the venue as your workplace for the summer!  We will only be accepting a select number of applicants, so apply now for your chance to work on the “ground floor” of this up and coming facility.

ART WORKS in Johnstown! is housed in a former industrial building and located in an historic neighborhood and within a major cultural tourism corridor.  Johnstown is within 500 miles of 50% of the continental United States’ population.  Nestled in the Laurel Highlands, we have the beauty of a rural small town, but the industry, commerce, and sophistication of a larger city. Johnstown is 1.5 hrs. SW of Pittsburgh, 3 hrs. from Washington DC, 5.5 hrs. from NYC.

Our goal is to develop the artist as entrepreneur and to provide artists with the tools they need to succeed.  By offering an excellent work space, a meeting place for artists, a gallery to exhibit work, and assistance in finding rental properties, we are dedicated to giving artists the chance to create and exhibit their best work.
