ART WORKS in Johnstown! Facilities

ART WORKS in Johnstown! is renovating a turn-of-the-century industrial building in the historic neighborhood of Cambria City into a facility where artists can teach, work, and market their work.

ART WORKS in Johnstown! will provide:

• Flexible and Accessible Studios with natural sky lighting, utility sinks, and high ceilings
  
• Grand Gallery
• Digital Gallery
• Large Classrooms
• Shared Specialized Equipment Facilities
• Art supply store
• Rooftop Café
• Unique public spaces for shopping, gathering, entertaining, learning and participating.
• a Kiln available for ceramic artists

All of these will be housed in an 18,000 square foot Green Building(.pdf) that has been designed in compliance with the US Green Building Council LEED for New Construction and Major Renovations.

The Renovation: Work on the outside of the building is complete.  Exterior lights have been placed on ART WORKS and on the Bottle Works.  Upcoming plans for the bathroom facilities are underway and will be completed by the end of summer.
